The Shoreham, a small complex of apartments and townhomes, was built by MGM studios in 1937 to house their cadre of up and coming stars, including Marlene Dietrich, Katharine Hepburn, Fernando Lamas, Ava Gardner, Veronica Lake, and Olivia de Havilland.
In the 1960s, one of the townhomes was purchased by Liberace, and later became the home of Barbara Marx Sinatra, a former Las Vegas showgirl who became the fourth and final wife of Frank Sinatra.
