This 15,000-square-foot house, located in México City's posh neighbourhood of Lomas de Chapultepec and worth $7 million, belongs to México's current First Lady and her husband, President Enrique Peña Nieto. It is registered to construction company Ingeniería Imobiliaria del Centro, a company that won many contracts under President Peña Nieto's term, and will remain the its property until the president's wife makes full payment to Ingeniería, as agreed under the terms of their deal.
The house has been under increased scrutiny and a subject of Angélica Rivera's speech to the nation about the issue.
Angélica Rivera is a former telenovela actress, most known for her role of Gaviota in the telenovela Destilando amor.
